Christmas holiday office closure

The Companies Office will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Our phone line and website support services will close on Tuesday 24 December at 5pm and re-open on Friday 3 January at 9am. If you email us during the holidays, we'll respond to your queries when we re-open in the New Year.

During the holiday period, you can search the Companies Register 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and file annual returns. Most other company maintenance services will also be available. The exceptions include the following services, which will resume when we re-open in the New Year:

  • name reservations
  • acceptance of director or shareholder consents
  • requests to confirm company authority using a letter of authorisation
  • ASIC data exchange
  • all paper forms filed manually.
